Bookend Candle Co. is an indie home fragrance business offering soy wax candles, soy wax melts, reed diffusers, room sprays, and candle accessories for people who want simple intentionality in their lives. Its mission is to provide a powerfully nostalgic experience and trigger peoples’ memories and emotions through its scents. All of our candles are made with 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and contain no dyes, phthalates, or proposition 65 chemicals. Each candle has been lovingly hand-poured, and each fragrance has been personally curated and blended. We do our best to offer the highest quality product in terms of performance, safety, and sustainability. We use as natural components as possible and buy from vendors we trust. All of our fragrance oils and wax are vegan and neither we nor any of our direct vendors test on animals. We also do our best to keep our use of plastics to a minimum.

CANDLE CARE
Please read for optimal use!
When burning a candle, you should always let the melt pool reach the edge of the container before blowing out. Depending on the size of the candle, we recommend burning for 2 to 4 hours at a time. Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time (unless otherwise stated on the label). ALWAYS trim your wicks to ¼ inch before each use. To make the first burn easier, your wick will be trimmed to the correct length upon arrival.
Please burn within sight and keep away from flammable objects, as well as your little ones (children and pets). Keep the candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. When not in use, we recommend keeping the lid on to prevent dust and placing it away from direct sunlight.
